Privacy Policy

We do not use farmer data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond direct procurement operations.

Under the DPDP Act 2023, we process personal data on the following lawful bases:

• Consent: Obtained explicitly during farmer registration and B2B inquiry submission via a free, informed, and specific consent mechanism.
• Contractual necessity: Processing bank and KYC data is necessary to fulfil procurement contracts and process payments to farmers.
• Legal obligation: Tax records, GST compliance, and agri-commodity transaction logs are retained under applicable Indian law.

We share data only with:

• Banking & Payment Partners: Bank account details and IFSC codes are shared with our banking partners solely to process procurement payments to farmers via NEFT/RTGS/ECS.
• Logistics Partners: Name and district of origin only — no financial or identity data shared with transporters.
• Warehouse Operators: Yield quantity and quality data (non-personal) for allocation purposes.
• Regulatory Bodies: As required by Bihar APMC, GST authorities, income tax, or any court order.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

We implement the following security measures to protect your data:

• All data in transit encrypted via TLS 1.2 or higher
• Sensitive fields (Aadhaar, bank account numbers) stored with encryption at rest
• Role-based access controls — staff can only access data relevant to their role
• All data storage within Indian territory (no cross-border transfers)
• Regular access audits and session management

In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board within 72 hours of discovery, as required under Section 8 of the DPDP Act 2023.

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and IT Act 2000, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data where it is no longer required for the stated purpose (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future data processing but does not affect data already used for completed transactions.
• Grievance Redressal: Lodge a complaint with our Data Protection Officer or with the Data Protection Board of India (once constituted).

Our services are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has submitted data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via mobile notification or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
