Every PRAAJ dispatch ships with the documentation institutional procurement and audit teams expect — moisture & aflatoxin records, weighbridge slips, lab assays, GST-compliant invoicing, and full origin traceability.
Commodities are evaluated through representative sampling, calibrated testing equipment, and clearly agreed buyer specifications — the same ten steps, every lot.
Specifications enforced at intake, hub QC, and pre-dispatch — not just at the receiving mill.
Digital moisture meters verify every lot at the village cluster level before loading. Moisture readings travel on the dispatch challan.
Food and feed grade aflatoxin assay against FSSAI and BIS limits. Lot rejection at source if outside spec.

These are PRAAJ's recommended commercial benchmarks across our principal commodities. Final acceptance, deductions and rejection limits are always confirmed in the applicable purchase contract, since requirements differ among processors, government agencies, exporters and institutional buyers.

FSSAI's broader food-grain standard permits maize moisture up to 16%, foreign matter up to 1%, other edible grains up to 3%, damaged grains up to 5%, and weevilled grains up to 10% by count. PRAAJ's benchmarks are intentionally tighter for safer storage and better commercial quality.

Mill Quality parameters — wheat intended for milling must be clean, sound, dry and suitable for milling. Laboratory and physical-analysis methods follow applicable FSSAI procedures.
Reference parameters apply uniformly across PRAAJ's principal paddy varieties — Sonam, Katarni, Hybrid, BB11 and Miniket. Paddy and the rice recovered from it are also assessed for varietal purity, chalkiness and expected milling yield.
